These Terms & Conditions govern your access to sattyo.com and any purchase of Sattyo Foods products through our online store. Please read them carefully before placing an order.

By accessing sattyo.com, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and any policies referenced on the website, including our Shipping Policy and Returns & Refunds Policy.

If you do not agree, you must not use the website or purchase products from us. We may update these terms from time to time, and continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

2. About Sattyo Foods

Sattyo Foods (“Sattyo”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) sells premium roasted snacks and related food products through sattyo.com. We operate as an ecommerce retailer and may update our product range, packaging, pricing, and availability at any time.

References to “you” or “customer” mean any person browsing the website or placing an order, including guest checkout users and registered account holders.

3. Eligibility

To use this website and place orders, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age, or using the site under supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under applicable law.
  • Any information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.

  • We may limit order quantities per customer, address, or payment method to prevent resale abuse or stock distortion.

If a pricing or product error is discovered after you place an order, we may contact you to confirm, cancel, or issue a refund before dispatch.

6. Food products, allergens, and suitability

Sattyo products are packaged food items. You are responsible for reviewing ingredient lists, allergen information, and product descriptions before purchase, especially if you have allergies, dietary restrictions, or medical conditions.

  • Our products may contain or come into contact with nuts, seeds, dairy, gluten, soy, or other allergens.
  • Manufacturing environments may handle multiple ingredients, so cross-contact cannot always be ruled out.
  • Our snacks are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
  • Consume products before the indicated best-before date and store them as directed on packaging.

7. Placing an order

Order confirmation does not guarantee acceptance if we identify stock issues, payment failure, suspected fraud, incorrect address details, or restrictions on delivery to your location.

8. Payments (including Razorpay)

All prices on sattyo.com are displayed and charged in Indian Rupees (INR). We accept the payment methods shown at checkout, which may include credit/debit cards, UPI, net banking, wallets, and other options enabled through our payment partner Razorpay (and any other gateways we may add).

  • By submitting payment, you confirm that you are authorized to use the selected payment method.
  • Payment must be successfully authorized before we confirm and dispatch your order.
  • Failed, reversed, or disputed payments may result in cancellation or delay of the order.
  • We do not store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN, or net-banking credentials on our servers. Card/UPI data is handled by Razorpay on their secure, PCI-DSS compliant systems.
  • Applicable product prices, discounts, taxes (if shown separately), and shipping fees are displayed at checkout before you pay.
  • After payment, you will receive an order confirmation and a payment acknowledgement from us and/or Razorpay.
  • Refunds for eligible cancellations or returns are processed to the original payment method as described in our Cancellation, Returns & Refunds Policy.

9. Shipping and delivery

Delivery timelines, shipping charges, and service areas are described in our Shipping Policy. By placing an order, you agree to provide a complete and accurate delivery address and to make reasonable efforts to receive the shipment.

  • Estimated delivery dates are not guaranteed and may vary due to courier delays, weather, holidays, or remote locations.
  • Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the address provided, except where otherwise required by law.
  • If delivery fails due to incorrect details, refusal, or repeated failed attempts, additional charges may apply for re-shipment.

10. Returns, replacements, cancellations, and refunds

Please read our full Cancellation, Returns & Refunds Policy before requesting a cancellation or return. Key points:

  • You may cancel before dispatch by contacting us with your order ID.
  • Report transit damage, leakage, or wrong items within 48 hours of delivery with supporting photos.
  • Opened or consumed food products are generally not eligible for change-of-mind returns.
  • Approved refunds are initiated to the original payment method (via Razorpay where applicable) within 5 to 7 business days after approval.
  • We may offer replacement, store credit, or refund depending on the issue and stock availability.

11. Promotions, coupons, and offers

Promotional codes, bundle offers, and free-shipping thresholds may be subject to additional conditions, including:

  • Minimum order value requirements.
  • Exclusions on certain SKUs, gift boxes, or discounted items.
  • One use per customer unless stated otherwise.
  • Expiry dates and automatic removal at checkout if conditions are not met.

We may modify or withdraw promotions at any time. Promotions cannot usually be combined unless explicitly permitted.

You represent that your submissions are truthful, do not violate third-party rights, and do not contain offensive, misleading, or unlawful material. We may remove content at our discretion.

15. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and products are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from security vulnerabilities.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or other liabilities that cannot be excluded by law.

17. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sattyo Foods, its owners, employees, and partners from claims, losses, damages, and expenses arising out of your breach of these terms, misuse of the website, violation of law, or infringement of third-party rights.

18. Force majeure

We are not responsible for failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, government actions, courier disruptions, power failures, internet outages, or supply chain interruptions.

19. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable consumer protection rules, courts in Kolkata, West Bengal shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms or your use of the website, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.

20. Severability and entire agreement

If any provision of these terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force. These terms, together with the policies linked on our website, constitute the entire agreement between you and Sattyo Foods regarding online purchases, except for any written agreement we enter into separately.
